Pick-Up Policy

Once your pet’s grooming appointment is complete, we will contact you by phone or text. Pets must be picked up within one hour of this first contact. After that one-hour window, a late fee of $10 per hour, per dog will be applied.


Top Dog closes one hour after the final appointment of the day. Any pets not picked up before closing will incur a fee of $10 per pet for every 15 minutes past closing time. If a pet is not picked up within one hour after closing, they will be transported to a boarding facility at the owner’s expense, along with a $100 service fee in addition to all grooming and late charges.


Cancellations

Any appointment cancelled less than 48 hours prior to check-in will be subject to a cancellation fee starting at $25 up to 50% of grooming service fee.


In order to reschedule your appointment a deposit of $25 is required. The deposit will be applied to the rescheduled appointment at checkout. If the second rescheduled appointment has to be changed or canceled, the $25 deposit will be forfeited.


Vaccinations

Current vaccinations are required for all services.


Without exception, we require current vaccination of Rabies prior to any services provided.


In addition we recommend, but is not required, to have Bordatella, DHPP, and Canine Influenza vaccinations.


It is the customer’s responsibility to provide detailed vet information and/or written proof from the vet showing current vaccination(s), before check-in to ensure your dog’s safety as well as that of our other guests.


Grooming Policy

While our groomers handle every pet with the highest level of care, grooming involves sharp tools and movement, which means minor nicks, cuts, or scratches can occasionally occur. If this happens, we will notify you as soon as possible or at the time of pick-up.


If your pet becomes ill or requires medical attention while in our care, Top Dog Grooming may seek treatment from a licensed veterinarian or provide appropriate care at our discretion. We will make every effort to contact you first unless immediate medical attention is necessary. All related veterinary and care expenses are the responsibility of the owner.


By using our services, you acknowledge that pets in a grooming environment may be exposed to illnesses. While all pets are required to be vaccinated, no vaccine is 100% effective, and exposure can still occur.


Additional charges may apply for flea or tick removal in the faclility, including any necessary cleaning or professional services required as a result.
